Yes - a 15mm wrench loosens the nuts that holds the training wheels on. It is advisable to replace the nuts if the training wheels are removed

Very easy. You use a wrench to remove a nut and slide them right off.

I bought this bike for my 6 yr old granddaughter (who couldn&#39;t ride a bike) and she loves it . It is very stable with the training wheels and gave her a lot of confidence when she started riding. As far as the size a lot depends on how tall she is .... But I guessing this 18&quot; bike would be a good fit.

Is it easy to take off the training wheels?

It came unassembled in a box for me when I picked it up after ordering it online. I've heard Walmart offers free assembly, but we chose to just take it home and assemble it ourselves.

The bike was easy to put together and the picture did not do the bike justice. The bike is just adorable and came with enough bells and whistles for the my six year old granddaughter to be over the moon. Great value for the price.

Bought this for my daughter's Christmas present, so we have only owned it for a couple days, but we love it.

Site-to-store was a huge help in the Christmas shopping chaos. The box was a little damaged when we picked it up, but the item itself was in good shape.

Putting the bike together was a bit of a trick. While most of it was pretty straight forward, the instruction booklet was not written for this specific model, but rather one booklet for a variety of models with the "if your bike is this, then..." Since I don't know much about brake varieties, it was a bit of a head scratcher to figure out which brake instructions to follow. My husband and I figured it out on our own.

Overall, my daughter was pleased with the bike and I am pleased with our purchase. I cannot offer much feedback for durability, but the bike certainly feels as if it was built to last. I'm sure it will last until my daughter outgrows it.

What a great deal!

Easy set up, very cute bike. My daughter and my nephew absolutely love it. Only down side is the wheels are not fully pumped so be prepared to have a pump on standby.

We took the training wheels off and it doesn't come with a kick stand. My six year old fell off a few times and the peddle already snapped in half. It is very pretty though

breaks easy

Bike is ok but came in scratched and some parts were broke I called the company and they sent some of the parts but they told be to either return the bike or I would have to live with the scraps on the frame they said they could not sent out whole bikes so I keep the one I had since Easter was that weekend and know it is already staring to rust

18" next bike

This bike was shipped to us from the manufacturer partially assembled. We have assembled many bikes before, and this one went together fairly easily. Once assembled however, we found out that the parts that were assembled at the factory were not correct, and the bike is NOT FUNCTIONAL.

It has a spot in the factory-assembled steering mechanism that sticks, so that it binds and you can't turn the wheel without a lot of force in that one location. This is obviously a very bad thing on a bike meant for a beginning rider (or anyone, for that matter). We took the bike apart, found lots of grit in the bearings, and no lubrication. Cleaned, lubed, re-assembled the bike, but the spot where it binds is still there.

Also, when you spin a bike's wheel, it should keep spinning with little resistance so that you don't have to work as hard to pedal and it coasts well. The hubs on this thing are so poor that when you spin the rear wheel, it stops spinning after just one revolution.

The ONLY acceptable thing about this bike is that it is kind of cute. Sparkly purple, interesting modern flower design.

Simply AWFUL
